Applicants chosen for employment as Direct Support Professionals (DSP) with Vita Living will attend New Employee Orientation. This 3-day training will include Nursing/Medication Delegation, Behavior Training, on-line CPR certification, as well as Trauma Informed Care certification.

Residential Group Homes are located in SHARPSTOWN (Zip Code 77036) and MEMORIAL AREA (Zip Code 77080).

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Texas driver’s license
  • High school diploma or GED

DSP RATE OF PAY:

$11.50 per hour

Following an offer of employment, Vita Living submits a criminal conviction check through the Texas Department of Public Safety and potentially other public records. Non-favorable results are reviewed by agency management and a determination to continue the hiring process is made on a case by case basis.
